My wide variety of experiences means I can take an immediate problem, draw out the best solution, and implement it rapidly. Although I have been part of a few formal software development projects, my strengths are in rapid prototyping with a more long term approach to refinement.
My abilities in diagramming and communicating a solution and its drawbacks, then seeing that solution to its completion is why I have the skill to communicate with both engineering teams and project management teams.
I enjoy rapid changes and many new problems to solve and have the ability to manage multiple ongoing situations using tools like Jira to track them and produce meaningful reports. I love to learn new things and acquire skills rapidly.
This is where I get to have fun, honestly. Whether in Visio or in my dotted grid Engineering Notebook, diagrams are an important part of what I do to communicate to others and to keep my own situational awareness of a design or issue. The notes I have for my jobs cannot be released, but below is a network diagram from a Capture the Flag cybersecurity event I took part in a few years ago.
